Peter provides a quality illustration and fine art service in a range of media to suit each client's brief. This has included work for internationally known companies, public and private sector businesses and commissions from individuals. Projects can be diverse and encompass artist's impressions, artwork for souvenirs and publicity, commissioned paintings and drawings, cartoons to present as gifts, logo and corporate-identity designs, magazine illustrations and a variety of specialist work.

Personal experience of the rail and aviation business, along with car rallying, pleasure-craft sailing and vehicle-restoration, has assisted in capturing the technical detail and "feel" for Peter's transport art subjects.
Using his creative eye, Peter also operates a freelance photography service, specializing in impressive and "moody" Welsh landscapes as well as aviation shots, most notably helicopters, to which he's often been fortunate in having priviledged access.

TRADITIONAL SKILLS.
In an area such as North Wales, it is essential to provide a diverse range of skills and styles to suit individual client's requirements. There's normally a way to make even the most unlikely subjects more vibrant as a piece of art.

Peter generally works in traditional media such as pencil, pen, watercolour (including line & wash), acrylics, coloured pencil, pastel and scraperboard; along with some slightly more unusual materials, for example, local slate. Art equipment manufacturers have spent centuries perfecting pigments, papers, pencils, etc. so why resort to computer emulations of these media? In-house computer facilities are however available to scan, file, typeset and output the finished job to CD-R or USB memory-stick, if required.
Peter hates the whole business of self-promotion, which seems a necessary evil in today's commercial environment. As he says: "It's not about me, it's about the art". This site contains just a few diverse examples of that art. If you need an artistic solution to a design problem, or want to commission a sketch, cartoon or painting, Peter will be happy to assist.
